This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) clarifies how refunds and cancellations work for paid features in the Heartbox application (“App”). It supplements our Subscription & Billing Terms. Apple Inc. (iOS) and Google LLC (Android) process all payments; we do not process payments or issue refunds directly.

1. Who Handles Payments and Refunds

All payments for subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by the platform: Apple (App Store) on iOS, and Google (Play Store) on Android. Heartbox LLC does not process payments or issue refunds. We do not have access to your payment card or billing details. Refund requests must be submitted to the platform that processed your payment (Apple or Google). The platform decides whether to grant a refund in accordance with its own policies. We do not control that decision.

2. Where to Request a Refund

iOS (Apple): reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple Support. Apple’s refund policy and process are set out in Apple’s App Store terms and support documentation.

Android (Google): Google Play Help – Request a refund. Google’s refund policy governs.

3. No Refunds Issued Directly by Us

We do not issue refunds. We cannot credit your card or reverse a charge. All refund requests must be directed to Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). If the platform grants a refund, it will process the refund according to its procedures. We will reflect the loss of access to paid features in the App when we are notified that your entitlement has been revoked.

4. Subscription Cancellation — What Happens

Cancelling your subscription stops future charges. It does not refund any amount already paid for the current billing period. After you cancel, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. At the end of that period, your access to paid features will end. How to cancel: See our Subscription & Billing Terms for step-by-step instructions (Settings → Subscriptions on iOS; Google Play Store → Subscriptions on Android). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Free Trials and Automatic Renewal

If you start a free trial, your subscription may automatically renew at the end of the trial and your payment method on file with the platform will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You must cancel through the platform (Apple or Google) to stop renewal.

6. One-Time Purchases (e.g., Lifetime)

One-time purchases (e.g., “lifetime” access) are generally non-refundable except as required by law or as determined by the platform. Refund requests for one-time purchases must be submitted to Apple or Google. We do not issue refunds for one-time purchases.

7. Disputes and Access Issues

Billing or payment disputes (e.g., unauthorized charge, refund request) should be directed to Apple or Google. If you paid but did not receive access to paid features (e.g., entitlement not unlocking), contact us at acfrank@heartbox.life and we will work in good faith to resolve the issue.
